| For the possession of the" Dickins cup" the | |
| Royal Oak and Anchor clubs, who tied in the | |
| competition with 36 points each, met at the | |
| Shakespeare on Tuesday evening to contest | |
| the final. The Royal Oak opened strongly, and | |
| maintaining their lead lead of 18 on the first | |
| section of three eventually won by a margin of | |
| 20 pins. | |

| cup winners on the Royal Oak alley on Thursday | |
| evening, when an interesting match went in | |
| favour of the visitors by 14 pins. The champions | |
| generally below par their play from the point - | |
| hitting standard not being up to the mark of the | |
| winners, for whom the King's Head representative | |
| reached the highest figures by good skittling. | |
