After three hands Graham found himself 19 pins down.   Going into the last hand Lee was 27 pins ahead a difficult hill for Graham to climb.   Graham stepped up and floored a 13 spare but not enough for tonight

After three hands just 1 pin separates them with Derek being the one ahead.     Going into the last hand Paul was 4 pins down   Derek scored 4 leaving Paul needing 8 to level and 9 to win unfortunately he scored just 5 and bowed out for this year.

Another match with a 1 pin difference with Steve being the one ahead.   Ben found his touch and was going into the fifth hand 7 pins ahead on the game   Ben scored 5 and Steve just 1 so Be through to the next round.

Steady skittling by Rob gave him a 5 pin lead into the fourth hand.     Going into the last hand Rob was just 3 pins ahead Daryl having clawed back pins in the 5th hand.   Daryl scored 6 and Rob 5 enough to take him through to the next round.

Just three pins between them with Adam being the one in front.   Adam scored 5 in the 4th hand and Aaran scored 6 so clawing one back.   Adam failed to score in the 5th hand and Aaran scored 7 to give him a 3 pin lead into the last hand.   Adam scored just 3 and Aaran 8 so ~Aaran through to round 2 with a joint top score o0f the night.

Tom could not find his touch and was going into the second half 16 pins down.  Tom pulled back 6 pins in the fourth (still 10 pins down on the game).    Simon took an 11 pin lead into the last hand.    Both players played well in the second half but Simon through to the next round and a joint top score of the night
