Scot struggled to find his form and was going into the second half 16 pins down.   Scott managed to pull back 2 pins in the last three hands but went out of the competition with 24 to Steve's 38.    Scott will however be back next year as he really rates our front pin competition,

Darren set his score out with 2 spares in the first half to give him a 16 pin lead.   Mick just could not find his touch tonight and bowed out for this year.

All square after 3 hands with both of them on 15.    Tony failed to score in the 5th giving Craig the chance to go ahead - this he took scoring 4 to give him a 2 pin lead into the last hand.    Tony scored 4 to give him 26 and Craig went on and scored a 9 to give him a7 pin lead overall.

Marcus struggled in the first half and was scoring just 12 pins against Pete's 24.   Going into the last hand Pete had a 21 pin lead after flooring a 14 spare in the 5th.    Marcus scored 6 to finish with 27 and Pete scored 5 to take him through with 47

Only 3 pins between them after two hands with Cameron Simon being the one ahead.   Simon floored a 9 in the 3rd hand and Cameron failed to score so was 12 pins down going into the 4th hand.    Cameron pulled back 1 pin in the 4th hand so now 11 pins down.    Simon continued to skittle well and was going into the last hand 17 pins ahead.    Simon scored 8 to finish with 43 and Cameron score 2 to give him 18 and out of the competition for this year.

After three hands Tom took a 6 pin lead.   Tom continued to pull pins and was going into the 5th hand 13 pins to the good.   Ken failed to score and Tom scored 5 to give him an 18 pin lead in the last hand.   Ken scored a 7 to give him 21 and Tom scored 4 to give him 36 and through to round 2.

Only 6 pins between them at halfway stage with Sarah being the one in front.   Sarah floored a 9 in the 4th hand and a 5 so Sarah now 10 pins ahead going into the 5th.   Sarah scored just 2 in the 5th giving Ann a chance to pull pins - unfortunately she only gained 1 and was 9 pins down going into the last hand.   Ann pulled back 4 pins in the last but not enough to get her through this year - she will be back

Nip and tuck in the first half with just 2 pins between them Marie being the one ahead.    Both players scored 8 in the 4th.   Marie scored 7 in the 5th and Helen scored just 2 so she was now 7 pins down on the game,.   Helen failed to score in the last so bowed out for this year with 27.

Jolene started slow with a 2 leaving her 5 pins down she then picked up her game with a 9 to leave her just 2 pins down going into the 3rd hand.    Kelly continued to pull pins and was 6 pins up going into the 4th hand.   Jolene could just not find her touch and was going into the 5th hand 10 pins down,   Kelly failed to score and Jolene scored 6 but not enough to take her through this year.

Alison continued to play well and Claire struggled to get started.    After three hands Alison was on 22 and Claire failed to score.  Claire continued to struggle and was going into the last hand with just 3.    Alison went through with 43 and Claire scored just 3 - but it is the taking part that counts and we Hope she will be back again next year.

Shivvy was skittling well and was 8 pins ahead going into the 3rd.    Shivvy failed to score and Wendy scored 6 so now Shivvy only 2 pins ahead.   Shivvy failed to score again in the 4th hand giving Wendy a chance to go ahead, this she took and scored 7 to go 5 pins ahead into the 5th hand.   Shivvy scored just 1 and Wendy scored 2 to give her a 6 pin lead into the last hand.    Shivvy failed to score and Wendy scored 3 to take her through 26 to 17
